We have owned Nemo since she was an untouched weaning. She is 1/4 Clydesdale, 1/4 QH and 1/2 Paint. Having been the first to touch her, to brush her, to teach her to lead, tie, truck, float and even the first to sit on her and finally ride her we have the most amazing bond and she really is my "One in a Million" horse. I love this horse with all my heart. Nemo has the most fantastic laid back, can do attitude and just takes everything in her stride. She has such an old head on young shoulders and has been like this all her life. I have never worked with such a willing horse and she is an absolute pleasure to own. Shown in hand as a youngster with many placings including Reserve Champion Youngstock at the 2007 New Zealand Pinto National Show. Her biggest win would be Supreme Champion Hack in the NZ Pinto Horse Show judged by international judges. She was just 1 point off taking Supreme Champion of the Show. A late starter to the ridden side of things as she was a late developer, having her final growth spurt between the ages of 6&7. Nemo did not compete in her first ridden competition until after the age of 5 and didn't jump higher than 50cm until the age of 6. Started slowly she has been schooled in English & basic western. She really is a "Jill" of all trades. At the age of 7 she has now done some Western Pleasure, Barrell Racing, Games, Dressage, Hunter Trials & Show Jumping. Competing clear up to 1m SJ (she definitely could go higher but her rider is a chicken lol). Nemo has been bred to Double K Ultimate Grand twice now for two outstanding fillies. She has now retired due to a hock injury and asthma (which we think was caused by the dry climate in Australia). She is occassionaly pulled from the paddock for a trail ride and for kids to ride but generally her days are spent next to her fav man - Double K Ultimate Grand.
